Verses about grace

as it is written: There is no righteous one, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned aside, together they have become worthless; there is no one who does kindness, there is not even one.

YHWH from the heavens looked down upon human beings to see if there is anyone who understands, who seeks Elohim. All have turned aside, together they have become perverted; there is no one who does good, there is not even one.

All of us like sheep went astray; each to his own way we turned; and YHWH caused to fall on him the iniquity of us all.

For there is no righteous human being on the earth who does good and does not sin.

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and through sin death, and so death spread to all people, because all sinned—

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God; not from works, so that no one may boast.

But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been made manifest, being testified to by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus the Messiah for all who believe; for there is no distinction, for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being declared righteous freely by his grace through the redemption that is in the Messiah Jesus,

But when the kindness and the love for humankind of God our Savior appeared, not by works of righteousness that we did, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus the Messiah our Savior, so that, having been declared righteous by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

And if it is by grace, it is no longer from works; otherwise grace is no longer grace.

But Noah found favor in the eyes of YHWH.

And YHWH passed by before him and proclaimed, “YHWH, YHWH, an El merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness, keeping loyal love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, calling to account the iniquity of fathers on sons and on sons’ sons, to the third and to the fourth generation.”

But God shows his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, the Messiah died for us.

For God loved the world in this way: that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life.

Surely our sicknesses he carried, and our pains he bore them; yet we considered him stricken, struck by Elohim and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; the correction of our peace was upon him, and by his wound we were healed.

He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

knowing that you were redeemed not with perishable things, silver or gold, from your futile conduct inherited from your fathers, but with the precious blood of the Messiah, as of a lamb without defect and unstained,

In him we have the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all the trespasses, having wiped out the certificate of debt against us with its decrees, which was opposed to us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.

But to all who received him, he gave them the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received a spirit of adoption as sons, by which we cry out, Abba, Father. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, also heirs: heirs of God and fellow heirs of the Messiah, if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.

But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, so that he might redeem those under the law, so that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” So you are no longer a slave but a son; and if a son, also an heir through God.

See what kind of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, because we will see him as he is.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I tell you, unless someone is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus says to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, unless someone is born of water and Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born from above.’

My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, ever; and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father —what he has given me is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

So there is now no condemnation for those who are in the Messiah Jesus.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor rulers nor things present nor things to come nor powers, nor height nor depth nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in the Messiah Jesus our Lord.

being confident of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of the Messiah Jesus.

Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes the one who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Now to the one who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glory without defect with great joy,

Therefore, having been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus the Messiah, through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.
