Indeedאַףthey do notלֹאpracticeפָעֲלוּinjustice;עַוְלָהin his waysבִּדְרָכָיוthey walk.הָלָכוּ
Youאַתָּהhave commandedצִוִּיתָהyour preceptsפִקֻּדֶיךָto be keptלִשְׁמֹרdiligently.מְאֹד
Oh thatאַחֲלַיmy waysדְרָכָיwere firmיִכֹּנוּto keepלִשְׁמֹרyour statutes!חֻקֶּיךָ
ThenאָזI will notלֹאbe ashamedאֵבוֹשׁwhen I lookבְּהַבִּיטִיtoאֶלallכָּלyour commandments.מִצְוֺתֶיךָ
I will give you thanksאוֹדְךָwith uprightnessבְּיֹשֶׁרof heartלֵבָבwhen I learnבְּלָמְדִיyour righteousצִדְקֶךָrules.מִשְׁפְּטֵי
Your statutesאֶת חֻקֶּיךָI will keep;אֶשְׁמֹרdo notאַלabandon meתַּעַזְבֵנִיutterly.עַד מְאֹד
Howבַּמֶּהwill a young man keep pureיְזַכֶּה נַּעַרhis path?אֶת אָרְחוֹBy keeping itלִשְׁמֹרaccording to your word.כִּדְבָרֶךָ
With allבְּכָלmy heartלִבִּיI have sought you;דְרַשְׁתִּיךָdo notאַלlet me strayתַּשְׁגֵּנִיfrom your commandments.מִמִּצְוֺתֶיךָ
In my heartבְּלִבִּיI have treasured upצָפַנְתִּיyour saying,אִמְרָתֶךָso thatלְמַעַןI may notלֹאsinאֶחֱטָאagainst you.לָךְ
Blessed areבָּרוּךְyou,אַתָּהYHWH;יְהוָהteach meלַמְּדֵנִיyour statutes.חֻקֶּיךָ
With my lipsבִּשְׂפָתַיI have recountedסִפַּרְתִּיallכֹּלthe rulesמִשְׁפְּטֵיof your mouth.פִיךָ
In the wayבְּדֶרֶךְof your testimoniesעֵדְוֺתֶיךָI have rejoicedשַׂשְׂתִּיas overכְּעַלallכָּלwealth.הוֹן
On your preceptsבְּפִקֻּדֶיךָI will reflect,אָשִׂיחָהand I will lookוְאַבִּיטָהto your paths.אֹרְחֹתֶיךָ
In your statutesבְּחֻקֹּתֶיךָI will delight myself;אֶשְׁתַּעֲשָׁעI will notלֹאforgetאֶשְׁכַּחyour word.דְּבָרֶךָ
Deal well withגְּמֹל עַלyour servant,עַבְדְּךָthat I may live,אֶחְיֶהand I will keepוְאֶשְׁמְרָהyour word.דְבָרֶךָ
Uncoverגַּלmy eyes,עֵינַיand I will look atוְאַבִּיטָהwondersנִפְלָאוֹתfrom your instruction.מִתּוֹרָתֶךָ
A resident alienגֵּרI amאָנֹכִיon the earth;בָאָרֶץdo notאַלhideתַּסְתֵּרfrom meמִמֶּנִּיyour commandments.מִצְוֺתֶיךָ
My soulנַפְשִׁיis crushedגָּרְסָהwith longingלְתַאֲבָהforאֶלyour rulesמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָat allבְכָלtimes.עֵת
You have rebukedגָּעַרְתָּthe insolent,זֵדִיםthe cursed,אֲרוּרִיםthose who strayהַשֹּׁגִיםfrom your commandments.מִמִּצְוֺתֶיךָ
Roll awayגַּלfrom meמֵעָלַיreproachחֶרְפָּהand contempt,וָבוּזforכִּיyour testimoniesעֵדֹתֶיךָI have guarded.נָצָרְתִּי
Evenגַּםprincesשָׂרִיםsatיָשְׁבוּand spokeנִדְבָּרוּagainst me;בִּיyour servantעַבְדְּךָreflectsיָשִׂיחַon your statutes.בְּחֻקֶּיךָ
Alsoגַּםyour testimoniesעֵדֹתֶיךָare my delight,שַׁעֲשֻׁעָיmy counselors.אַנְשֵׁי עֲצָתִי
My soulנַפְשִׁיclingsדָּבְקָהto the dust;לֶעָפָרgive me lifeחַיֵּנִיaccording to your word.כִּדְבָרֶךָ
My waysדְּרָכַיI recounted,סִפַּרְתִּיand you answered me;וַתַּעֲנֵנִיteach meלַמְּדֵנִיyour statutes.חֻקֶּיךָ

The wayדֶּרֶךְof lyingשֶׁקֶרremoveהָסֵרfrom me,מִמֶּנִּיand with your instructionוְתוֹרָתְךָshow me favor.חָנֵּנִי
The wayדֶּרֶךְof faithfulnessאֱמוּנָהI have chosen;בָחָרְתִּיyour rulesמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָI have set before me.שִׁוִּיתִי
I have clungדָּבַקְתִּיto your testimonies;בְעֵדְוֺתֶיךָYHWH,יְהוָהdo notאַלput me to shame.תְּבִישֵׁנִי
In the wayדֶּרֶךְof your commandmentsמִצְוֺתֶיךָI will run,אָרוּץforכִּיyou enlargeתַרְחִיבmy heart.לִבִּי
Instruct me,הוֹרֵנִיYHWH,יְהוָהin the wayדֶּרֶךְof your statutes,חֻקֶּיךָand I will guard itוְאֶצְּרֶנָּהto the end.עֵקֶב
Make me understand,הֲבִינֵנִיand I will guardוְאֶצְּרָהyour instructionתוֹרָתֶךָand keep itוְאֶשְׁמְרֶנָּהwith allבְכָלmy heart.לֵב
Lead meהַדְרִיכֵנִיin the pathwayבִּנְתִיבof your commandments,מִצְוֺתֶיךָforכִּיin itבוֹI take pleasure.חָפָצְתִּי
Inclineהַטmy heartלִבִּיto your testimonies,אֶל עֵדְוֺתֶיךָand notוְאַלtoאֶלgain.בָּצַע
Turn awayהַעֲבֵרmy eyesעֵינַיfrom looking atמֵרְאוֹתfalsehood;שָׁוְאin your wayבִּדְרָכֶךָgive me life.חַיֵּנִי
Confirmהָקֵםto your servantלְעַבְדְּךָyour saying,אִמְרָתֶךָwhichאֲשֶׁרleads to the fear of you.לְיִרְאָתֶךָ
Turn awayהַעֲבֵרmy reproachחֶרְפָּתִיthatאֲשֶׁרI dread,יָגֹרְתִּיforכִּיyour rulesמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָare good.טוֹבִים
Look,הִנֵּהI have longedתָּאַבְתִּיfor your precepts;לְפִקֻּדֶיךָin your righteousnessבְּצִדְקָתְךָgive me life.חַיֵּנִי
And letוִיבֹאֻyour acts of loyal loveחֲסָדֶךָcome to me,יבֹאֻנִיYHWH,יְהוָהyour salvationתְּשׁוּעָתְךָaccording to your saying.כְּאִמְרָתֶךָ
And I will answerוְאֶעֱנֶהthe one who taunts meחֹרְפִיwith a word,דָבָרforכִּיI have trustedבָטַחְתִּיin your word.בִּדְבָרֶךָ
And do notוְאַלsnatchתַּצֵּלfrom my mouthמִפִּיthe wordדְבַרof truthאֱמֶתutterly,עַד מְאֹדforכִּיyour rulesלְמִשְׁפָּטֶךָI have awaited.יִחָלְתִּי
And I will keepוְאֶשְׁמְרָהyour instructionתוֹרָתְךָcontinually,תָמִידforeverלְעוֹלָםand ever.וָעֶד
And I will walk aboutוְאֶתְהַלְּכָהin a broad place,בָרְחָבָהforכִּיyour preceptsפִקֻּדֶיךָI have sought.דָרָשְׁתִּי
And I will speakוַאֲדַבְּרָהof your testimoniesבְעֵדֹתֶיךָbeforeנֶגֶדkings,מְלָכִיםand I will notוְלֹאbe ashamed.אֵבוֹשׁ
And I will delight myselfוְאֶשְׁתַּעֲשַׁעin your commandments,בְּמִצְוֺתֶיךָwhichאֲשֶׁרI have loved.אָהָבְתִּי
And I will lift upוְאֶשָּׂאmy palmsכַפַּיto your commandments,אֶל מִצְוֺתֶיךָwhichאֲשֶׁרI have loved,אָהָבְתִּיand I will reflectוְאָשִׂיחָהon your statutes.בְחֻקֶּיךָ
Rememberזְכֹרthe wordדָּבָרto your servant,לְעַבְדֶּךָon whichעַל אֲשֶׁרyou have made me wait.יִחַלְתָּנִי
This isזֹאתmy comfortנֶחָמָתִיin my affliction,בְעָנְיִיthatכִּיyour sayingאִמְרָתְךָhas given me life.חִיָּתְנִי
The insolentזֵדִיםhave mocked meהֱלִיצֻנִיexceedingly;עַד מְאֹדfrom your instructionמִתּוֹרָתְךָI have notלֹאturned aside.נָטִיתִי
I rememberedזָכַרְתִּיyour rulesמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָfrom of old,מֵעוֹלָםYHWH,יְהוָהand I took comfort.וָאֶתְנֶחָם
Raging heatזַלְעָפָהhas seized meאֲחָזַתְנִיbecause of the wicked,מֵרְשָׁעִיםwho abandonעֹזְבֵיyour instruction.תּוֹרָתֶךָ
Your statutesחֻקֶּיךָhave beenהָיוּsongsזְמִרוֹתto meלִיin the houseבְּבֵיתof my pilgrimages.מְגוּרָי
I rememberedזָכַרְתִּיin the nightבַלַּיְלָהyour name,שִׁמְךָYHWH,יְהוָהand I keptוָאֶשְׁמְרָהyour instruction.תּוֹרָתֶךָ
Thisזֹאתhas beenהָיְתָהmine,לִּיthatכִּיyour preceptsפִקֻּדֶיךָI have guarded.נָצָרְתִּי

The cordsחֶבְלֵיof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםhave wrapped around me;עִוְּדֻנִיyour instructionתּוֹרָתְךָI have notלֹאforgotten.שָׁכָחְתִּי
At midnightחֲצוֹת לַיְלָהI riseאָקוּםto give you thanksלְהוֹדוֹת לָךְforעַלyour righteousצִדְקֶךָrules.מִשְׁפְּטֵי
A companionחָבֵרI amאָנִיof allלְכָלwhoאֲשֶׁרfear you,יְרֵאוּךָand of those who keepוּלְשֹׁמְרֵיyour precepts.פִּקּוּדֶיךָ
Of your loyal love,חַסְדְּךָYHWH,יְהוָהthe earthהָאָרֶץis full;מָלְאָהyour statutesחֻקֶּיךָteach me.לַמְּדֵנִי
Goodטוֹבyou have doneעָשִׂיתָwith your servant,עִם עַבְדְּךָYHWH,יְהוָהaccording to your word.כִּדְבָרֶךָ
Goodטוּבdiscernmentטַעַםand knowledgeוָדַעַתteach me,לַמְּדֵנִיforכִּיin your commandmentsבְמִצְוֺתֶיךָI have believed.הֶאֱמָנְתִּי
BeforeטֶרֶםI was afflicted,אֶעֱנֶהIאֲנִיwas going wrong;שֹׁגֵגbut nowוְעַתָּהyour sayingאִמְרָתְךָI keep.שָׁמָרְתִּי
Youאַתָּהare goodטוֹבand do good;וּמֵטִיבteach meלַמְּדֵנִיyour statutes.חֻקֶּיךָ
The insolentזֵדִיםhave smearedטָפְלוּliesשֶׁקֶרagainst me;עָלַיI,אֲנִיwith allבְּכָלmy heart,לֵבwill guardאֱצֹּרyour precepts.פִּקּוּדֶיךָ
Their heartלִבָּםis grossטָפַשׁlike fat;כַּחֵלֶבIאֲנִיdelight inשִׁעֲשָׁעְתִּיyour instruction.תּוֹרָתְךָ
It is goodטוֹבfor meלִיthatכִיI was afflicted,עֻנֵּיתִיso thatלְמַעַןI might learnאֶלְמַדyour statutes.חֻקֶּיךָ
Betterטוֹבto me isלִיthe instructionתוֹרַתof your mouthפִּיךָthan thousandsמֵאַלְפֵיof goldזָהָבand silver.וָכָסֶף
Your handsיָדֶיךָmade meעָשׂוּנִיand established me;וַיְכוֹנְנוּנִיmake me understand,הֲבִינֵנִיand I will learnוְאֶלְמְדָהyour commandments.מִצְוֺתֶיךָ

ThoughכִּיI have becomeהָיִיתִיlike a wineskinכְּנֹאדin the smoke,בְּקִיטוֹרyour statutesחֻקֶּיךָI have notלֹאforgotten.שָׁכָחְתִּי
How many areכַּמָּהthe daysיְמֵיof your servant?עַבְדֶּךָWhenמָתַיwill you executeתַּעֲשֶׂהjudgmentמִשְׁפָּטon those who pursue me?בְרֹדְפַי
The insolentזֵדִיםhave dugכָּרוּpitsשִׁיחוֹתfor me,לִיwhichאֲשֶׁרis notלֹאaccording to your instruction.כְתוֹרָתֶךָ
Allכָּלyour commandmentsמִצְוֺתֶיךָare faithfulness;אֱמוּנָהwith liesשֶׁקֶרthey pursue me;רְדָפוּנִיhelp me!עָזְרֵנִי
They almostכִּמְעַטmade an end of meכִּלּוּנִיon the earth,בָאָרֶץbut Iוַאֲנִיhave notלֹאabandonedעָזַבְתִּיyour precepts.פִקֻּודֶיךָ
According to your loyal loveכְּחַסְדְּךָgive me life,חַיֵּנִיand I will keepוְאֶשְׁמְרָהthe testimonyעֵדוּתof your mouth.פִּיךָ

My hiding placeסִתְרִיand my shieldוּמָגִנִּיare you;אָתָּהyour wordלִדְבָרְךָI have awaited.יִחָלְתִּי
Departסוּרוּfrom me,מִמֶּנִּיevildoers,מְרֵעִיםand I will guardוְאֶצְּרָהthe commandmentsמִצְוֺתof my Elohim.אֱלֹהָי

My fleshבְשָׂרִיbristlesסָמַרfrom dread of you,מִפַּחְדְּךָand of your rulesוּמִמִּשְׁפָּטֶיךָI am afraid.יָרֵאתִי
I have doneעָשִׂיתִיjusticeמִשְׁפָּטand righteousness;וָצֶדֶקdo notבַּלleave meתַּנִּיחֵנִיto my oppressors.לְעֹשְׁקָי

Wondersפְּלָאוֹתare your testimonies;עֵדְוֺתֶיךָthereforeעַל כֵּןmy soulנַפְשִׁיguards them.נְצָרָתַם
The openingפֵּתַחof your wordsדְּבָרֶיךָgives light,יָאִירgiving understandingמֵבִיןto the simple.פְּתָיִים
My mouthפִּיI opened wideפָעַרְתִּיand panted,וָאֶשְׁאָפָהbecauseכִּיI longedיָאָבְתִּיfor your commandments.לְמִצְוֺתֶיךָ

Greatרָבpeace isשָׁלוֹםfor those who loveלְאֹהֲבֵיyour instruction,תוֹרָתֶךָand there is noוְאֵיןstumbling blockמִכְשׁוֹלfor them.לָמוֹ

Letתְּהִיyour handיָדְךָbe readyתְּהִיto help me,לְעָזְרֵנִיforכִּיyour preceptsפִקּוּדֶיךָI have chosen.בָחָרְתִּי
