“And you,וְאַתָּהsonבֶןof man,אָדָםprophesyהִנָּבֵאagainst Gog,עַל גּוֹגand say,וְאָמַרְתָּ‘ThusכֹּהsaysאָמַרAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH:יְהוִהLook, I amהִנְנִיagainst you,אֵלֶיךָGog,גּוֹגprincipal chiefנְשִׂיא רֹאשׁof Meshechמֶשֶׁךְand Tubal.וְתֻבָל
And I will turn you aroundוְשֹׁבַבְתִּיךָand lead you on,וְשִׁשֵּׁאתִיךָand I will bring you upוְהַעֲלִיתִיךָfrom the farthest partsמִיַּרְכְּתֵיof the north,צָפוֹןand bring youוַהֲבִאוֹתִךָagainst the mountainsעַל הָרֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵל
And I will strikeוְהִכֵּיתִיyour bowקַשְׁתְּךָout of your left hand,מִיַּד שְׂמֹאולֶךָand your arrowsוְחִצֶּיךָI will make fallאַפִּילfrom your right hand.מִיַּד יְמִינְךָ
On the mountainsעַל הָרֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלyou will fall,תִּפּוֹלyouאַתָּהand allוְכָלyour troops,אֲגַפֶּיךָand the peoplesוְעַמִּיםthatאֲשֶׁרare with you;אִתָּךְto the bird of prey,לְעֵיטthe birdצִפּוֹרof everyכָּלwing,כָּנָףand to the animalsוְחַיַּתof the fieldהַשָּׂדֶהI have given youנְתַתִּיךָas food.לְאָכְלָה
On the faceעַל פְּנֵיof the fieldהַשָּׂדֶהyou will fall,תִּפּוֹלforכִּיIאֲנִיhave spoken,דִבַּרְתִּיdeclaresנְאֻםAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH.יְהוִה
And I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּיfireאֵשׁon Magogבְּמָגוֹגand on those who liveוּבְיֹשְׁבֵיin the coastlandsהָאִיִּיםsecurely;לָבֶטַחand they will knowוְיָדְעוּthatכִּיI amאֲנִיYHWH.יְהוָה
And my holyוְ קָדְשִׁיnameשֵׁםI will make knownאוֹדִיעַin the midstבְּתוֹךְof my peopleעַמִּיIsrael,יִשְׂרָאֵלand I will notוְלֹאletאַחֵלmy holyקָדְשִׁיnameשֵׁםbe profanedאַחֵלanymore;עוֹדand the nationsוְ הַגּוֹיִםwill knowיָדְעוּthatכִּיI amאֲנִיYHWH,יְהוָהthe Holy Oneקָדוֹשׁin Israel.בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל
Look,הִנֵּהit is coming,בָאָהand it will be done,וְנִהְיָתָהdeclaresנְאֻםAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH;יְהוִהthatהוּאis the dayהַיּוֹםof whichאֲשֶׁרI have spoken.דִּבַּרְתִּי
And the inhabitantsוְ יֹשְׁבֵיof the citiesעָרֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלwill go out,יָצְאוּand they will make firesוּבִעֲרוּand kindle themוְהִשִּׂיקוּwith weapons,בְּנֶשֶׁקboth shieldוּמָגֵןand large shield,וְצִנָּהwith bowבְּקֶשֶׁתand with arrows,וּבְחִצִּיםand with hand staffוּבְמַקֵּל יָדand with spear;וּבְרֹמַחand they will make firesוּבִעֲרוּ אֵשׁwith themבָהֶםfor sevenשֶׁבַעyears.שָׁנִים
And they will notוְלֹאcarryיִשְׂאוּwoodעֵצִיםfrom the fieldמִן הַשָּׂדֶהnorוְלֹאcut woodיַחְטְבוּfrom the forests,מִן הַיְּעָרִיםforכִּיwith the weaponsבַנֶּשֶׁקthey will make fires;יְבַעֲרוּ אֵשׁand they will despoilוְשָׁלְלוּthose who despoiled them,שֹׁלְלֵיהֶםand plunderוּבָזְזוּthose who plundered them,בֹּזְזֵיהֶםdeclaresנְאֻםAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH.יְהוִה
And it will happenוְהָיָהon that dayבַיּוֹם הַהוּאthat I will giveאֶתֵּןto Gogלְגוֹגa placeמְקוֹםthereשָׁםfor a graveקֶבֶרin Israel,בְּיִשְׂרָאֵלthe valleyגֵּיof those who pass by,הָעֹבְרִיםeastקִדְמַתof the sea;הַיָּםand itהִיאwill blockוְחֹסֶמֶתthose who pass by;הָעֹבְרִיםand they will buryוְקָבְרוּthereשָׁםGogגּוֹגand allוְ כָּלhis multitude,הֲמוֹנֹהand they will call itוְקָרְאוּthe Valleyגֵּיאof Hamon-gog.הֲמוֹן גּוֹג
And the houseוּ בֵּיתof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלwill bury themקְבָרוּםin order toלְמַעַןcleanseטַהֵרthe landהָאָרֶץfor sevenשִׁבְעָהmonths.חֳדָשִׁים
And allוְ כָּלthe peopleעַםof the landהָאָרֶץwill bury them,קָבְרוּand it will beוְהָיָהfor themלָהֶםa renown,לְשֵׁםon the dayיוֹםwhen I am glorified,הִכָּבְדִיdeclaresנְאֻםAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH.יְהוִה
And they will set apartוְ יַבְדִּילוּmenאַנְשֵׁיof continual dutyתָמִידpassing throughעֹבְרִיםthe land,בָּאָרֶץburying,מְקַבְּרִיםwithאֶתthose who pass through,הָעֹבְרִיםthose who remainהַנּוֹתָרִיםon the faceעַל פְּנֵיof the land,הָאָרֶץto cleanse it;לְטַהֲרָהּat the endמִקְצֵהof sevenשִׁבְעָהmonthsחֳדָשִׁיםthey will search.יַחְקֹרוּ
And those who pass byוְ הָעֹבְרִיםwill pass throughעָבְרוּthe land,בָּאָרֶץand when one seesוְרָאָהa humanאָדָםbone,עֶצֶםhe will buildוּבָנָהbeside itאֶצְלוֹa marker,צִיּוּןuntilעַדthe gravediggersהַמְקַבְּרִיםburyקָבְרוּitאֹתוֹin the Valleyאֶל גֵּיאof Hamon-gog.הֲמוֹן גּוֹג
And alsoוְגַםthe nameשֶׁםof a cityעִירwill be Hamonah.הֲמוֹנָהAnd they will cleanseוְטִהֲרוּthe land.’הָאָרֶץ
And you,וְאַתָּהsonבֶןof man,אָדָםthusכֹּהsaysאָמַרAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH:יְהֹוִהSayאֱמֹרto the birdsלְצִפּוֹרof everyכָּלwingכָּנָףand to allוּלְכֹלthe animalsחַיַּתof the field,הַשָּׂדֶה‘Assembleהִקָּבְצוּand come;וָבֹאוּgatherהֵאָסְפוּfrom all aroundמִסָּבִיבto my sacrificeעַל זִבְחִיthatאֲשֶׁרIאֲנִיam sacrificingזֹבֵחַfor you,לָכֶםa greatגָּדוֹלsacrificeזֶבַחon the mountainsעַל הָרֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלand you will eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּםfleshבָּשָׂרand drinkוּשְׁתִיתֶםblood.דָּם
The fleshבְּשַׂרof mighty menגִּבּוֹרִיםyou will eat,תֹּאכֵלוּand the bloodוְדַםof the chiefsנְשִׂיאֵיof the earthהָאָרֶץyou will drinkתִּשְׁתּוּ— rams,אֵילִיםlambs,כָּרִיםand male goats,וְעַתּוּדִיםbulls,פָּרִיםfatlingsמְרִיאֵיof Bashanבָשָׁןall of them.כֻּלָּם
And you will eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּםfatחֵלֶבuntil you are full,לְשָׂבְעָהand drinkוּשְׁתִיתֶםbloodדָּםuntil you are drunk,לְשִׁכָּרוֹןfrom my sacrificeמִזִּבְחִיthatאֲשֶׁרI have sacrificedזָבַחְתִּיfor you.לָכֶם
And you will be filledוּשְׂבַעְתֶּםat my tableעַל שֻׁלְחָנִיwith horseסוּסand chariot,וָרֶכֶבwith mighty manגִּבּוֹרand everyוְכָלmanאִישׁof war,מִלְחָמָהdeclaresנְאֻםAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH.’יְהוִה
And I will setוְנָתַתִּיmy gloryכְּבוֹדִיamong the nations,בַּגּוֹיִםand allוְ כָלthe nationsהַגּוֹיִםwill seeרָאוּmy judgmentמִשְׁפָּטִיthatאֲשֶׁרI have executedעָשִׂיתִיand my handוְ יָדִיthatאֲשֶׁרI have laidשַׂמְתִּיon them.בָהֶם
And the houseוְ בֵּיתof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלwill knowיָדְעוּthatכִּיI amאֲנִיYHWHיְהוָהtheir Elohim,אֱלֹהֵיהֶםfrom that dayמִן הַיּוֹם הַהוּאand onward.וָהָלְאָה
And the nationsוְ הַגּוֹיִםwill knowיָדְעוּthatכִּיfor their iniquityבַעֲוֺנָםthe houseבֵיתof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלwent into exile,גָּלוּbecauseעַל אֲשֶׁרthey were unfaithfulמָעֲלוּto me,בִיand I hidוָאַסְתִּרmy faceפָּנַיfrom them,מֵהֶםand gave themוָאֶתְּנֵםinto the handבְּיַדof their adversaries,צָרֵיהֶםand they fellוַיִּפְּלוּby the sword,בַחֶרֶבall of them.כֻּלָּם
According to their uncleannessכְּטֻמְאָתָםand according to their transgressionsוּכְפִשְׁעֵיהֶםI dealtעָשִׂיתִיwith them,אֹתָםand I hidוָאַסְתִּרmy faceפָּנַיfrom them.מֵהֶם
Therefore,לָכֵןthusכֹּהsaysאָמַרAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH:יְהוִהNowעַתָּהI will bring backאָשִׁיבthe captivityשְׁבוּתof Jacob,יַעֲקֹבand I will have compassionוְרִחַמְתִּיon allכָּלthe houseבֵּיתof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלand I will be jealousוְקִנֵּאתִיfor my holyקָדְשִׁיname.לְשֵׁם
And they will bearוְנָשׂוּtheir shameכְּלִמָּתָםand allוְ כָּלtheir infidelityמַעֲלָםwith whichאֲשֶׁרthey were unfaithfulמָעֲלוּto me,בִיwhen they liveבְּשִׁבְתָּםon their own groundעַל אַדְמָתָםsecurely,לָבֶטַחand no oneוְאֵיןmakes them afraid,מַחֲרִיד
when I bring them backבְּשׁוֹבְבִי אוֹתָםfrom the peoplesמִן הָעַמִּיםand gatherוְקִבַּצְתִּיthemאֹתָםfrom the landsמֵאַרְצוֹתof their enemies,אֹיְבֵיהֶםand I am sanctifiedוְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּיthrough themבָםin the eyesלְעֵינֵיof manyרַבִּיםnations.הַגּוֹיִם
And they will knowוְיָדְעוּthatכִּיI amאֲנִיYHWHיְהוָהtheir Elohim,אֱלֹהֵיהֶםwhen I sent them into exileבְּהַגְלוֹתִי אֹתָםto the nationsאֶל הַגּוֹיִםand gathered themוְכִנַּסְתִּיםonto their own ground,עַל אַדְמָתָםand did notוְלֹאleaveאוֹתִירany of themמֵהֶםthereשָׁםanymore.עוֹד
And I will no longerוְלֹא עוֹדhideאַסְתִּירmy faceפָּנַיfrom them,מֵהֶםforאֲשֶׁרI will have poured outשָׁפַכְתִּיmy spiritרוּחִיon the houseעַל בֵּיתof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלdeclaresנְאֻםAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH.”יְהוִה
